Overview
Senior SFCC Frontend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable headless commerce storefront solutions using React.js and Salesforce (SF) PWA Kit or SF Next.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, performant headless commerce architectures using React.js and SF PWA Kit.
- Design Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers to orchestrate data from Salesforce Commerce APIs (SCAPI) and OCAPI into the React storefront.
- Build reusable atomic UI components and organize them using atomic design principles, Storybook, and mocking layers.
- Optimize React apps for server/client performance in Salesforce Managed Runtime (MRT) with Core Web Vitals, edge data fetching, and caching.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams to support end-to-end user experiences and advocate for product engineering needs.
- Set standards for code quality, React test automation, and technical documentation; mentor engineers and lead knowledge-sharing.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of industry experience focused on React.js and frontend development in eCommerce/headless/API-driven architectures.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building Salesforce Composable Storefronts with SF PWA Kit and deploying to Salesforce Managed Runtime.
- 1+ years of commercial experience with Remix, React Router v7, or Next.js with SSR and server/client context understanding.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js (hooks, state management, component lifecycle) plus Node.js orchestration or BFF layers.
- Deep knowledge of SFCC B2C ecosystem including SLAS, SCAPI, OCAPI, and platform-specific data models.
- Strong web performance optimization knowledge (Core Web Vitals) and testing tools such as Jest/Vitest/Playwright/Cypress.
