Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for a cloud-native SaaS platform modernising enterprise financial software. Own complex features end-to-end, make architecture decisions, and help raise engineering standards.

What you'll do

• Own features from design through delivery.
• Drive end-to-end architectural decisions for the platform.
• Write architecture decision records and document trade-offs.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through review and pairing.
• Identify non-functional risks (security, isolation, performance) during design.
• Break large problems into independently deliverable increments and unblock others.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of Java experience in production.
• Strong Spring Boot for production REST API design.
• REST API design with clean separation between public contracts and internal domain.
• Hibernate ORM and Oracle SQL with performance-aware implementation.
• Build extensibility using plugin patterns, hook registries, and runtime configuration.
• Apply security controls including input validation, secret management, and tenant data isolation.
• Frontend experience with Angular + TypeScript (component architecture, reactive forms, schema-driven rendering).
• Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes (ConfigMaps, Secrets, multi-tenant deployment patterns).
• Design CI/CD pipeline quality gates and implement production observability (structured logging, distributed tracing).
