Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Speechify’s Core Experiences Team, building and maintaining foundational services and SDKs that power the product experience across platforms.

What you'll do

Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and reduce scope for faster customer feedback.
Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing intelligence.
Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

What you'll need

Systems thinking with end-to-end design and a focus on simplicity.
Ability to generate options quickly, decide what can ship now, and prioritize work.
Focus on engaging appropriately or working heads down.
Kotlin Multiplatform experience (Java experience is OK).
Prior experience with GCP (plus).
