Senior Software Engineer, Developer Platform

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Platform team, building internal infrastructure that improves CI/CD, AI-agent reliability, build systems, and engineering delivery.

What you'll do

• Implement key areas of the Developer Platform.
• Improve monorepo CI/CD speed, reliability, and developer experience.
• Productionize the Agentic AI platform, including observability, RAG, and context engineering.
• Consolidate build systems and deliver standardized onboarding blueprints.
• Identify developer toil and automate repetitive work.
• Participate in design and code reviews.

What you'll need

• 4+ years building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Go or readiness to ramp quickly.
• Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, and large-monorepo build, test, and release tooling.
• Ability to apply AI-driven development practices, including LLM-based automation or context engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and improve product delivery using data.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or comparable systems.
• Experience with DORA or SPACE metrics and related instrumentation.
• Experience operating a large Go monorepo.
• Familiarity with supply chain security, OCI, Kubernetes, or open source communities.
• Experience gathering stakeholder feedback from engineering teams.

Details

• Remote in the United States.
• Base salary: $157,000–$184,000 USD yearly.
