Senior Technical Marketing Engineer – Network Automation

Overview

Senior Technical Marketing Engineer focused on translating network automation capabilities into customer workflows, technical content, and field enablement. The role partners across Product, Sales, and Marketing and is externally visible and non-quota-carrying.

What you'll do

• Shape automation capabilities and use cases with Product Management.
• Design and promote workflows using NQE, APIs, and CI/CD-driven verification.
• Enhance integrations and build new ones across network and IT ecosystems.
• Build and maintain labs for demos and technical validation.
• Create technical collateral, demos, presentations, and training materials.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, webinars, and industry events.
• Gather market feedback to influence product direction and positioning.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in technical marketing, sales engineering, network engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, and change management.
• Experience with NetDevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code for networking.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, or similar tools.
• Experience with Git, API integration, and network data models.
• Experience with complex on-premises, virtualized, and cloud networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GraphQL, JSONPath, or network query engines.
• Familiarity with AI/ML network operations use cases.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience presenting at conferences, webinars, or customer events.

Details

• Remote USA.
• Base pay: $200,000–$230,000.
