Software Engineer

Overview

Contribute to the full-stack development and operation of Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings, including platform portals, dashboards, backend services, API Gateways, messaging systems and middleware. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver platform features and improve developer experience and platform reliability.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance platform portals and dashboards using React or Angular and backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices supporting platform workflows, integrations and operational tooling.
• Contribute to PaaS offerings including API Gateways such as Mashery and Mule and Kafka-based messaging within established architecture and standards.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Argo CD and Argo Workflows.
• Support Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with infrastructure, SRE and engineering teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Provide on-call support for platform services as needed.

What you'll need

• 1 to 2 years of software engineering experience with hands-on full-stack development across frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience building web applications using React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go for backend service development, including REST API design and implementation.
• Experience working with relational or document databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and containerized deployments such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform engineering, API Gateways such as Mashery and Mule, or messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI tooling such as LLMs, LangChain, RAG or automation for operational workflows.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and debugging production distributed systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design and cloud-native patterns.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.
