Overview
Software Engineer for Coinbase’s CX Shared Agent Platforms and SFDC Solutions team, building and extending platforms that support customer service and compliance operations.
What you'll do
- Build and ship backend services using Golang and gRPC for agent workflows across compliance and consumer teams.
- Evaluate, integrate, and support third-party SaaS platforms and vendor APIs for CX tooling.
- Partner with product, design, security, and data teams on cross-functional operational and compliance solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, deployment, and observability standards.
- Translate complex technical concepts into recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Go and hands-on experience with scalable backend services using gRPC.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar) and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience integrating and operating third-party SaaS applications and vendor APIs in production.
- Experience operating production systems on AWS with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (BuildKite or similar).
- Ability to contribute to technical architecture decisions for reliable, high-traffic systems.
