Job description

Overview

Ensure software applications and systems meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and user expectations by identifying defects, validating functionality, and improving product reliability before release.

What you'll do

  • Review business and technical requirements and specifications.
  • Identify ambiguities or missing acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are testable.
  • Design detailed manual and automated test scenarios.
  • Define testing scope, strategy, and coverage.
  • Maintain reusable test documentation.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Verify software behaviour against expected results.
  • Document defects clearly with reproduction steps.
  • Prioritize issues based on severity and impact.
  • Track bugs through resolution using tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Build CI/CD test pipelines.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and service teams.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Help reproduce and isolate defects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal QA processes.
  • Recommend process improvements.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or equivalent experience in the field of technology.
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Experience working with scrum process and agile testing.
  • Good knowledge in QA process.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SDLC/STLC.
  • Scripting/programming basics.
  • Communication and documentation skills.
  • Organized way of working.
  • Strong communication skills and proven team player.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
  • Willingness to constantly learn new technologies and methods.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
