Solution Engineer, Principal

Overview

Principal Solution Engineer who prepares the Solution Engineer team through training and best practices, acts as subject matter expert across multiple solution families, and designs technical solutions for customers in the ERP space.

What you'll do

• Prepare the Solution Engineer team to be successful through proactive training, sharing knowledge, and communicating best practices.
• Advise team members and sales prior to customer calls and/or sales strategy sessions.
• Act as subject matter expert in multiple families of solutions.
• Design technical solutions considering the customer's infrastructure as well as business limitations and opportunities.
• Operate comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all stakeholders.
• Drive a variety of initiatives and projects.
• Work strategically with sales, partners and customers to uncover and increase emerging business opportunities.
• Deliver presentations and conduct sales conversations with confidence and credibility to C-level clients, in small meetings and large group formats.
• Assist with cost evaluation and provide pricing solutions.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 8 years of presales experience within the ERP industry, or equivalent operational ERP experience.
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales.
• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry.
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations.
• 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
