Solutions Consultant 2

Overview

Own technical leadership across the customer lifecycle, guiding security transformation, solution validation, deployment readiness, adoption, and ongoing technical health. Partner with customers and internal teams to define and deliver solutions across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.

What you'll do

• Build technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions and sales quotas.
• Conduct discovery to identify customer technical priorities and stakeholders.
• Design, position, and demonstrate security solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Lead technical validation efforts and support deployment readiness and product adoption.
• Monitor customer usage and outcomes to identify optimization opportunities and risks.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialists, Channel partners, and Support teams.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Experience influencing key stakeholders and gaining buy-in.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
• Knowledge of networking, network security, cybersecurity, cloud security, SOC/Endpoint, SASE, or AI Security.
• Technical curiosity and high AI fluency.

Nice to have

• Experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS offerings.
• Experience with complex sales, long sales cycles, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.
• Experience supporting implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Location in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington.

Details

• Remote role in the USA, Oregon region.
• Up to 80% travel within the assigned territory.
• Annual compensation range: $206,400–$283,800.
