Specialist - F&A - R2R 4B

Overview

Specialist role in the Record To Report (R2R) service line within Genpact's Finance and Accounting practice, focused on transaction processing, reconciliations, fixed assets and accounting reporting for global clients. Fresh campus hires are sought.

What you'll do

• Provide R2R transaction processing and ensure delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness daily
• Process standard monthly journal, intercompany and bank reconciliation and confirmation
• Ensure timely capitalization, addition and disposal of fixed assets, depreciation, FA reposting and reconciliations
• Clear overdue open items and review sub-ledger vs general-ledger reconciliations
• Execute project detail work and ensure all reporting requirements are met
• Work with the Global Process Owner to standardize R2R activities
• Ensure all MEC activities and reconciliations are completed on time with accuracy
• Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations
• Resolve general accounting and reporting issues in consultation with the Team Lead
• Assist and support the Team in implementing project initiatives
• Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times
• Ensure stakeholder queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner
• Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement solutions upon Team Lead confirmation
• Support new and existing team members through accurate knowledge transfer and sharing of resources, knowledge and standard methodology
• Lead end-to-end accounting work, including FA, IC and Closing and Reporting
• Apply analytical skills to understand process issues and provide solutions based on process requirements
• Drive continuous improvements through quality initiatives
• Contribute to developing standard methodology frameworks, case studies, benchmarking and collateral for R2R processes
• Participate in proposals, transformation projects, solutions and other projects
• Work across businesses and drive margin improvement initiatives, assimilating standard methodologies and speeding up their implementation in accounts
• Contribute as Subject Matter Specialist to improving metrics and cost efficiency of R2R processes
• Craft diagnostic and benchmarking tools to assess gaps
• Engage and execute engagements with Fortune 500 organizations around process, digital and operating models
• Understand the operational framework to enable stability, consistency and efficiency of 100+ R2R processes at Genpact
• Assist in implementing practices in different accounts

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's in Finance
• Should have knowledge and experience of IFRS Accounting and Reporting
• Strong analytical skills
• Required skills: Banking Capital Markets, Client Relations, Close Consolidation Journal, Collaboration Tools, Financial Close, Financial Consolidations, Fixed Assets, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Reconciliations, Record To Report (R2R), Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• English language proficiency, Proficient - C2 (required)
