Sr. Director, Athlete Marketing

Overview

Lead national athlete marketing for Red Bull, including talent identification, concept development, roster and athlete management, and creation of marketing tools and onboarding.

What you'll do

• Identify new talent, personalities, and opportunities that fit the Red Bull brand for the US roster.
• Develop creative concepts from ideation and feasibility through implementation for projects, marketing tactics, and content creation.
• Identify athletic trends, sports media rights, innovations, and relevant technology and applications.
• Manage athlete relationships and coaching to ensure regional plans for marketing, communication, and performance.
• Oversee the total USA athlete roster and improve athlete performance tracking and evaluation systems.
• Collaborate to create athlete reach and engagement metrics, and align product positioning and messaging across channels.
• Create streamlined athlete marketing tools and develop athlete onboarding materials.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of sports marketing experience.
• Experience with multiple sports scenes and playgrounds.
• Knowledge of the action sports landscape.
• Direct experience with sports data, systems, or analytics.
• Experience with product marketing to Red Bull’s target consumer.
• Experience in endorsement agreements, including securing name and likeness rights and usage.
• Planning, organizational, and project management competencies.
• Ability to demonstrate a creative mind and openness to new ideas and innovations.

Details

• Base salary range: $149,440–$224,160 plus cash incentives.
• Position open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
