Sr. District Sales Manager

Overview

Sr. District Sales Manager to lead and develop a sales/distribution team, drive monthly KPI execution, and coach District Sales Managers on selling and operational routines.

What you'll do

• Set sales/KPI targets with GSM for each assigned District Sales Manager and manage monthly execution.
• Provide feedback, coaching, corrective counseling, and performance reviews for District Sales Managers.
• Maintain ongoing communications with retail partners/decision makers to implement national/local programming.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team to meet/exceed operational objectives and execute sales/distribution targets.
• Spend at least 1 day/week in the field (gate-to-gate) with DSMs to train, develop, and evaluate them.
• Teach DSM selling skills (selling process, role plays, objection handling, retail math, and buying personalities).
• Lead and implement the huddle process and execute aligned KPI priorities for the branch.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.
• Experience supervising a team of account sales professionals.
• Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of a DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• Ability to communicate in English; additional languages are an advantage.
