Overview
Sr. Engineer focused on Construction Quality for MEP systems in industrial and cleanroom construction projects.
What you'll do
- Implement and monitor QA/QC systems for MEP works.
- Inspect and verify CS/MS/SS piping including welding, fit-up, and joint integrity.
- Validate quality of clean process gas and UPW piping systems for cleanliness and fabrication compliance.
- Perform orbital welding quality checks, including review of weld logs and WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation.
- Review installation of ducting, firefighting networks, DICL underground piping, UPVC, and HDPE piping against specs.
- Conduct visual inspection, NDT (as applicable), and hydro-pneumatic testing; oversee utility equipment installation/testing.
What you'll need
- 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP, piping, or cleanroom infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in CS/MS/SS piping fabrication, orbital welding, and pressure testing procedures.
- Experience with cleanroom and utility piping systems including clean process gas and UPW.
- Knowledge of ducting, firefighting, and underground utility piping (DICL, UPVC, HDPE).
- Familiarity with P&ID and PFD interpretation for MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of codes/standards including ASME, IS, and ASTM, plus welding standards implementation.
