Sr Implementation Consultant

Overview

Lead healthcare IT implementations of Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory solutions for ambulatory clinics and healthcare institutions, primarily across Manitoba. Provide workflow consulting, system configuration, and implementation support throughout the project life cycle.

What you'll do

• Implement Altera software solutions, including Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory.
• Complete project workplan tasks within contracted scope.
• Configure systems and provide technical guidance to clients.
• Advise clients on registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation workflows.
• Translate paper-based clinic workflows into electronic formats.
• Resolve or escalate system and workflow issues.
• Support go-live activities and client utilization targets.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Functional knowledge of an EMR or EHR system.
• Experience on a formal EMR implementation project team.
• Client presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Project management experience across multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altera Sunrise EMR Core or Ambulatory.
• Epic or Meditech experience with clinic workflow knowledge.
• Clinical implementation experience.
• SQL or SSRS reporting experience.

Details

• Remote role, with candidates located anywhere in Canada.
• 10–15% travel, primarily for on-site go-live support.
• Salary: CAD 65,000–75,000 per year.
