Sr. ServiceNow Developer (Remote, IND)

Overview

Senior ServiceNow Developer for CrowdStrike’s IT Applications team, supporting ServiceNow ITSM and domain-specific solutions, including integrations, workflows, and incident/SLA operations. This role involves designing, developing, testing, documenting, and mentoring to improve service management capabilities.

What you’ll do

• Develop, test, and document custom ServiceNow development, integrations, and data migrations.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and develop reusable workflow frameworks to improve manual processes.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and appropriate design patterns.
• Execute test plans to deliver quality solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders across development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Handle incidents per published SLAs and maintain required maintenance tasks.
• Provide estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of IT Service Management / ServiceNow experience.
• At least three years of software development and two years of ServiceNow application development.
• Working knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• JavaScript development experience with comprehensive tests to ensure code coverage.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, HR, Employee Center Pro, or ITSM.

Nice to have

• Hands-on development experience with one or more of HAM/SAM Now Assist and Virtual Agent, Employee Center Pro, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC/IRM.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in an OOTB module (e.g., ITSM, ITBM, ITOM).
• ITIL V3/V4 Foundation or above.
