Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable web applications, including databases, APIs, and integrations, and to mentor junior developers.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver scalable, reliable web applications.
• Translate business requirements into applications, databases, APIs, and integrations.
• Improve performance, stability, and maintainability through standards, design patterns, and testing.
• Mentor junior developers and support engineering best practices.
• Own small projects and technical initiatives from planning through delivery with cross-functional partners.
• Support production reliability by troubleshooting issues and assisting timely resolution.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of web development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Strong database development skills in an RDBMS.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and .NET design patterns.
• Experience with source code management tools (SVN or GIT).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with web performance testing.
• Working knowledge of C#, SVN, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms, Entity Framework, WCF, Web API, and Oracle/MS SQL Server.
