Sr Staff Cyber Security Architect

Overview

Lead cybersecurity architecture for secure cloud and on-premise application and infrastructure deployments. Conduct architecture reviews and provide security guidance aligned with organizational requirements.

What you'll do

• Serve as a security architecture subject matter expert for AWS and Azure deployments.
• Conduct security architecture reviews within the enterprise architecture governance model.
• Draft target architectures using secure-by-design principles.
• Prepare risk assessment reports covering cyber risks and mitigating controls.
• Publish reusable solution patterns and security documentation.
• Research emerging technologies and security trends.
• Build cross-functional relationships and influence security decisions.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology, computer science, engineering, or cybersecurity field.
• Experience designing secure solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Experience with threat modeling and multi-tier web applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized certification such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or Azure Security certification.
• Experience with relevant security standards.

• Remote position.
• U.S.-based pay range: $127,600–$212,600 per year.
