Staff Software Development Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Development Engineer to lead end-to-end design and development of core ad-tech systems, including ad delivery, targeting, and measurement/optimization.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, resilient microservices for the ad tech stack.
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend projects from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Write maintainable code and ensure rigorous testing and fault tolerance.
• Drive architectural decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams on tech solutions.
• Own operational excellence including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers with deep dives and code reviews.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), messaging systems (Kafka), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.
• 6-9 years of experience in backend development (with Bachelors/Masters in CS or related).
