Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer to lead design and delivery of cloud-native, enterprise-grade applications, setting technical direction and building backend and frontend solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead work scope definition, provide initial estimates, and justify estimates with facts.
• Design and deliver cloud-native applications using Agile development practices.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with ASP.NET Core.
• Drive front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Maintain code quality via unit testing and code-quality automation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor 5–7 developers, and support design reviews.
• Assess and optimize application performance and support scalability through testing.

What you'll need

• 8 to 12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (for roles outside USA).
• Minimum 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (for roles in USA).
• Expert-level .NET proficiency including ASP.NET Core (Web API and MVC) and Entity Framework.
• Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Advanced skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, plus hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework.
• Strong SQL expertise across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Working knowledge of AWS and hands-on experience with Docker.
