Staff Software Engineer - Java/Golang

Overview

Staff Software Engineer (Java/Golang) on a startup-mode team building a new cloud-based SaaS identity analytics product, with the backing of an established organization.

What you'll do

• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java based microservices.
• Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements.
• Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.
• Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.

What you'll need

• 9-14 years of experience in Java / GO -based backend development.
• Strong knowledge in developing server-side, Object-Oriented Programming and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in designing, implementing RESTful/GraphQL APIs for an API-first application architecture.
• Experience using cloud-native technologies from AWS/other cloud providers.
• Experience developing microservices in multi-tenant SaaS application.
• Experience using SQL/NoSQL, EKS, Kafka, Redis.
• Experience using monitoring, alerting, visualization tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Great communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in design/implementation of event-driven architecture.
• Experience writing software applications in Go.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Hybrid model: office 3 days a week (unless otherwise specified).
• 12x7 on-call support during their day.
