Overview
Senior Associate Planner in Amgen’s External Planning (AXP) team, ensuring accurate, timely execution of external supply plans in planning systems for the CMO network.
What you'll do
- Maintain planning system data integrity and alignment across SAP and RapidResponse.
- Monitor execution performance, analyze gaps vs planning parameters, and recommend adjustments.
- Generate data discrepancy reports, act on system alerts, and drive resolution of data issues.
- Reconcile inventory across CMO reports and SAP, reporting and correcting discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory health and planning signals (e.g., negative balance, expiry/aging risks) and escalate issues.
- Execute SAP and RapidResponse transactions for purchasing, shipping lanes, and shipment/inventory processing.
- Support monthly planning cycle activities using actual vs planned supply performance analysis.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree with 1-3 years’ supply chain/operations/logistics/manufacturing experience in a regulated industry.
- OR Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in a regulated industry.
- OR Associate’s degree with 7-9 years’ experience in a regulated industry.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in teams, projects, and programs.
- Strong planning skills, including understanding of supply chain flow and manufacturing processes.
- Strong SAP transactional experience and systems discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a regulated GMP environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology supply chain.
- Familiarity with Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements.
- Understanding of quality systems (deviations, change controls, CAPAs).
