Technical Service Representative- Roofing Inspector

Overview

Technical Service Representative (Roofing Inspector) to monitor installation of Sika Sarnafil Roof Systems, perform warranty inspections, and run contractor training in the Washington DC area.

What you'll do

• Train applicators to install Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems correctly and efficiently.
• Oversee application by attending job starts and conducting in-progress site visits.
• Document field findings with field reports to ensure installation aligns with good roofing practices and Sarnafil specifications.
• Resolve installation problems and conduct final inspections for technical acceptance for warranty issuance.
• Act as liaison with applicable parties during the installation process.
• Assist with pre-job meetings, roof surveys, and warranty claim issues, and follow up on leak and warranty calls.
• Inspect existing Sarnafil roofs for warranty transfers, warranty extensions, and annual inspections.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of work experience in the roofing industry.
• Technical knowledge of single-ply roof membrane installation, ideally Sarnafil.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region, including some overnight travel.
• Computer literacy.
• Prefer an Associate degree.
