Overview
Design, deploy, administer, and automate enterprise Tenable vulnerability management infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Shape asset classification models, risk assessment reports, security policies, and implementation plans while configuring and monitoring networks against cyber threats.
What you'll do
- Design, scale, and maintain Tenable architecture, including Security Center, Tenable.io / Tenable Vulnerability Management, and Nessus Scanners, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Oversee day-to-day platform operations, including scan policies, repositories, RBAC, platform upgrades, plugin updates, and troubleshooting scan or connectivity issues.
- Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on CVSS and business risk.
- Partner with cross-functional IT and cloud teams to drive and validate remediation efforts.
- Develop custom scripts using REST APIs and JSON payload processing to automate platform health checks, reporting, and routine operational tasks.
- Integrate Tenable platforms with ServiceNow, SIEM solutions including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, and Active Directory.
- Produce security evaluation reports, design security solution scenarios, establish operational procedures, and conduct security awareness workshops.
- Support assessment, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, audit, and compliance activities across the vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex scan failures, define scanning policies, and deliver actionable reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT, security, and infrastructure teams to drive vulnerability closure.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years+ of experience.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and administering enterprise Tenable solutions, including Security Center, Tenable.io / Tenable Vulnerability Management, Nessus Scanners, and Nessus Managers, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including assessment, risk prioritization using CVSS, CIS Benchmarks, and CVEs, remediation tracking, and supporting audit and compliance frameworks.
- Practical proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting and working with REST APIs and JSON payload processing to automate platform health checks, scanner deployments, and operational reporting.
- Hands-on experience integrating Tenable with ServiceNow, SIEM solutions including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, Active Directory, and major cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong technical leadership skills to troubleshoot complex scan failures, define scanning policies, deliver actionable reports and dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional IT, security, and infrastructure teams to drive vulnerability closure.

- Relevant industry certifications such as Tenable Certified Professional (TCP), Security+ CE, or CEH.
- CISSP certification.
- Azure/AWS Security Certifications.
