Test Development Engineer

Overview

Join the EBBU ProdOps tech team to develop and deploy manufacturing tests for Cisco C9500 and C9600 products during new product development and lifecycle support. The role works with global cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing test solutions, improve first-pass yield, procure test equipment, and support product quality and supply chain continuity.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy manufacturing tests for C9500 and C9600 new product development.
• Provide lifecycle support for the C9500 and C9600 product families.
• Work with NPI, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, contract manufacturers, and other Supply Chain teams to deliver manufacturing test solutions.
• Drive 6-Sigma first-pass yield.
• Support test equipment procurement.
• Support MCVT.
• Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll need

• BSEE, BSCE, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing test or HW validation experience.
• Experience with NPI processes and a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience with Ethernet switching or routing products.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware at the PCBA level.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware or diagnostics development is highly preferred.
• Experience with a test automation platform such as Apollo (APC).
• Knowledge of applied statistics, analytics, and data visualization tools with AI.
• Experience in Python and C language programming using scripting language.
• Python experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working with a global team.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Good presentation skills for cross-functional communications.
