TT Die Shop Tech

Overview

TT Die Shop Tech develops and maintains extrusion tooling and trouble-shoots extrusion and machine issues. The role coordinates die shop activities and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain all extrusion tooling.
• Troubleshoot extrusion tooling and machine difficulties.
• Coordinate and prioritize all die shop activities.
• Manage MUV control and ETO scheduling.
• Engineer die layout and cut out.
• Perform and insert design.
• Maintain tooling and order additional or replacement tooling.

What you'll need

• Have an Associate Degree or 5 years related experience.
• Be fully capable to problem solve and troubleshoot extrusion tooling or machine difficulties.
• Have thorough knowledge of tire construction and processing procedures.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Adhere to safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Be able to follow ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements.

Nice to have

• Previous manufacturing experience.

Details

• May be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
• Work is in a non-climate controlled environment with exposure to temperature swings, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
• Role involves physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery.
