UI Engineer - Apps Team

Overview

Senior UI Engineer for the Apps Team to build front-end web experiences.

What you'll do

• Build high-quality front-end features with unit-tested JavaScript.
• Debug and profile web apps using browser developer tools.
• Work directly with Web APIs and the DOM.
• Develop single-page applications using a front-end framework.
• Design and integrate with REST APIs.
• Collaborate using version control, continuous integration, and pre-commit code reviews.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
• Ability to write high-quality, unit-tested JavaScript.
• Comfortable debugging and profiling web apps with browser dev tools.
• Care about code quality, user experience, and visual design.
• Comfortable working with version control.
• Comfortable with continuous integration and pre-commit code reviews.

Nice to have

• Mastery of CSS and HTML fundamentals.
• Familiarity with modern CSS layout standards like flexbox and grid.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience designing and integrating with REST APIs.
• Networking domain experience (plus).
