About this course
This course covers the money decisions every earning Indian faces: reading a salary slip, choosing between the old and new tax regimes, building an emergency fund, and picking between an FD, a mutual fund SIP, and the NPS. You'll work through multiple-choice questions on budgeting, income tax and deductions, EPF and PPF, insurance, loans and EMIs, credit scores, and common financial traps. It's for first-time earners, students about to start work, and anyone who has never had this explained properly.
Why practice personal finance
Most people learn money the expensive way — a policy bought from a relative, a credit card revolved for a year, a tax deduction discovered in April. Answering questions on realistic situations surfaces those mistakes before they cost you anything, and the explanation tells you the actual rule rather than the folklore.
How this course works
- Short MCQ sessions you can finish in a coffee break
- Every answer comes with an explanation of why it's right and why the alternatives fail
- Scenario questions built on real salary, tax, and loan situations in India
- Difficulty ramps from basic terms to comparing products and trade-offs
What you'll walk away with
The confidence to read your own payslip and tax filing, a clear sense of what different investment products actually do, and enough grounding to tell a genuine financial product from a badly sold one. This is educational material, not investment advice.
