About this course
This course drills the two halves of business intelligence work: building a model that gives correct numbers, and presenting them so a decision follows. You'll work through multiple-choice questions on Power Query transformations, star-schema modelling, relationships and cardinality, DAX measures and filter context, visual selection, and the design habits that separate a readable dashboard from a wall of charts. It's for analysts, reporting professionals, and anyone preparing for a Power BI interview or certification.
Why practice Power BI
Most Power BI problems aren't button-finding problems — they're modelling and DAX problems that surface as a number that looks slightly wrong. Answering questions forces you to reason about filter context and relationship direction before you can guess, and the explanation shows you exactly why the plausible answer returns the wrong total.
How this course works
- Short MCQ sessions you can finish in a coffee break
- Every answer comes with an explanation of why it's right and why the alternatives fail
- Scenario questions that hand you a model or a report and ask what to fix
- Difficulty ramps from basic visuals to filter context and CALCULATE
What you'll walk away with
A clear mental model of how filters flow through a Power BI report, sound instincts for chart choice and layout, and the ability to explain a dashboard's story in a sentence rather than a tour.
