Account Executive, Pharmaceutical Advertising

Overview

The Account Executive supports client services and implements advertising projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. The role coordinates internal teams, client communications, project workflow, budgets, and deliverables.

What you'll do

• Manage account workflows, timelines, status reports, briefs, and job files.
• Coordinate client communications, status calls, meetings, and project updates.
• Review materials for accuracy before client delivery or production.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, billing forecasts, and expenditure records.
• Develop knowledge of product categories, competitors, audiences, and key data.
• Identify opportunities to grow client business and billings.
• Communicate the agency’s process and recommendations to clients.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related concentration.
• At least 1 year as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related industry.
• Experience with direct client contact.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with medical, regulatory, and legal submission systems such as Zinc or Veeva.
• Medical communications or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience writing statements of work and project briefs.

Details

• Remote in the United States.
• Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 USD yearly.
