Accountant

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Dehradun office and manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books. You'll handle financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance across our accounts.

What you'll do

• Record and reconcile financial transactions in Zoho Books with precision and timeliness
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliation reports
• Ensure GST compliance and maintain accurate tax documentation for regulatory filings
• Perform bank reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies promptly

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with Zoho Books
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, GST, and Indian tax compliance
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with accounting software
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Zoho inventory
• Familiarity with payroll or inventory management processes
