Overview
Adv Engineer QE II is responsible for planning, executing, and improving software quality assurance activities, including automation and governance.
What you'll do
- Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases for complex features and systems.
- Lead risk assessments and participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, and backend services.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines integrate automated test suites effectively.
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous process improvement using Agile/Scrum/DevOps practices.
What you'll need
- 4–7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
- Experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST-Assured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Employment: Full time employee.
- Workplace model: work in the designated office at least three days a week, with two days working outside an Invesco office.
