Overview

Advanced Lead Engineer responsible for repair development of aircraft engine components at GE Aerospace Bangalore Engineering Center.

What you'll do

• Develop repair and inspection technologies, including process qualification and industrialization.
• Deliver related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.
• Manage people directly, including staffing and performance development.
• Use in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy and strategy.
• Propose different solutions outside set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes, with guidance.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Lead small projects with low risk and resource requirements.
• Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.

What you'll need

• B.Tech, M.Tech or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and repair of gas turbine rotor components.
