AES ​Guidewire​ Lead Integration Developer - ​Senior Associate​

Overview

Lead integration development for Guidewire solutions, focusing on implementation, optimization, upgrades, and performance across client service workstreams within the Advisory practice, supporting insurance operations at PwC Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Lead Guidewire integration workstreams for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter enhancements and production support
• Develop interface designs, integration logic, and technical solutions that connect Guidewire platforms with upstream and downstream systems
• Analyze complex application issues, trace root causes, and implement code fixes to support stable insurance operations
• Collaborate with client teams to gather technical requirements, refine integration approach, and translate business needs into deliverables
• Review code, configuration, and deployment packages to validate alignment with development standards and solution design
• Support release planning, environment coordination, and defect resolution across development and testing cycles
• Guide junior developers through technical questions, development tasks, and issue triage across assigned workstreams
• Apply Guidewire, software development, and system development methodology skills to modernize and enhance deployed solutions
• Use analytical thinking and AI-enabled tooling to accelerate troubleshooting, automate repeatable tasks, and improve delivery efficiency
• Lead related project teams for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter and ContactManager
• Work on Guidewire integrations within xcenter and external applications, with good experience on Apache Camel and Edge API
• Work with GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework, and object-oriented programming
• Script in Java, emphasizing hosting and consuming web services that leverage Java

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4-9 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification (at least one of the following)
• Demonstrated Guidewire integration development across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
• Applying Scrum methods while managing assigned workstreams and deliverables
• Translating complex technical concepts into client-ready solutions
• Mentoring junior team members while reviewing assigned work tasks
• Adapting to changing priorities through analytical thinking and learning agility

Nice to have

• Expert abilities and/or a proven record of success in developing independently new market-differentiated Guidewire solutions and leading proposal development efforts; capable of delivering Advisory-level work and discussing future enhancements in Guidewire roadmap discussions with the client
• With a focus on AES, expert abilities assisting clients in the support of Guidewire Suite solutions and improving business processes, with a proactive approach to quality
• Expert abilities developing solutions based on common issues facing clients in all lines of the P&C Industries (e.g., Auto, Home, Commercial, Workman's Comp, etc.)
• Expert abilities identifying and addressing client needs by developing and sustaining impactful client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection
