Senior Developer 2 - IDR - Integrations

Overview

Senior Developer responsible for maintaining third-party integrations and developing Python-based applications that present actionable data to Security Services teams.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and sustain Python-based applications and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on code quality.
• Debug and fix issues in existing Python codebases.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle and document software functionality.

What you'll need

• 7–9 years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience contributing to software development projects, preferably in Python.
• Experience collaborating with multiple developers while contributing code independently.
• Experience impacting the architecture and design of large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Ability to learn and apply software development and coding best practices.
• Knowledge of technologies including Python, Go, AWS, HTTP REST, Git, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Syslog, Pub/Sub Messaging, or Databricks is relevant.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• Technical influence through public conference talks or papers.
