Agentic AI Engineer - Senior Manager

Overview

Agentic AI Engineer (Officer) to join State Street’s GenAI Center of Excellence, independently designing, implementing, and optimizing agent orchestration and multi-agent workflows.

What you'll do

• Design and implement complex agent workflows for domain requirements.
• Integrate agent workflow frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph (or GoogleADK).
• Lead event-driven architecture development and enhancements for assigned domains.
• Own runtime components by operating and troubleshooting for availability and reliability.
• Improve deployment, monitoring, and incident response across hybrid/multi-cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Drive code quality via testing, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Contribute to platform documentation and establish best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying distributed or agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one additional language (Java, Go, or C++).
• Experience with event-driven, microservices, or multi-agent architectures at scale.
• Solid experience with cloud-native development and operations on AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
• Experience with software testing, code reviews, and agile development methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions.

Nice to have

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.
