Agentic AI Engineer, Vice president

Overview

Lead end-to-end production support for a new agentic AI platform integrating upstream systems and supporting Front, Middle, and Back Office workflows. Own global follow-the-sun operations, incident management, vendor delivery, and operational readiness across multiple regions.

What you'll do

• Establish and run a follow-the-sun support model across India, US, UK, and Europe.
• Own production support escalation for all production issues and escalate to engineering when required.
• Act as operational owner of a managed-services vendor and ensure SLA adherence, staffing adequacy, and service quality.
• Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and performance tuning for low-latency, high-throughput workflows.
• Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to drive automation and intelligent tooling to reduce manual support load and improve MTTR.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge repositories, and operational readiness for new features.

What you'll need

• 15+ years in application/production support with L1–L3 ownership.
• Proven leadership in global support operations and vendor-managed delivery models.
• Hands-on background with AWS and Linux/Windows.
• Experience with databases: MongoDB, Oracle, and Sybase.
• Scripting experience with Shell and Python.
• Familiarity with enterprise schedulers (Autosys, Control-M), ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA), and monitoring platforms.
• Strong communication skills for business users and cross-functional teams.

• Exposure to AI.
• ITIL certification.
