Overview
AI Engineer for Mastercard’s Global Pricing & Interchange team, building enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative/Agentic AI solutions for complex business problems.
- Build and maintain LLM applications, RAG pipelines, intelligent agents, and multimodal AI systems from prototype to production.
- Design AI agent architectures, orchestration frameworks, and inter-agent communication for workflow automation.
- Develop scalable backend services and API layers to operationalize AI solutions.
- Build and maintain cloud-native AI/ML pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Apply MLOps and LLMOps practices for deployment, monitoring, quality assurance, and lifecycle management.
- Implement Responsible AI controls including bias monitoring, hallucination mitigation, explainability, and safety guardrails.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/Generative AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- Hands-on experience building LLM applications, Agentic AI systems, and RAG architectures end-to-end.
- Strong expertise with GenAI ecosystems and frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, and open-source foundation models.
- Strong Python skills for APIs, microservices, and production-ready AI applications.
- Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing technologies including Spark and modern cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and version control practices.
