AI Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. This is an Assistant Vice President level role.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks and tools.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability and reliability.
• Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
• Lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives and coach employees, and appraise performance relative to objectives.
• Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members through structured assignments, and identify new directions for assignments and projects.
• Consult on complex issues, advise People Leaders on escalated issues, identify ways to mitigate risk, and develop new policies and procedures supporting the control and governance agenda.
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
• Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Communicate complex information and influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
