AI / ML Engineer

Overview

Design and build AI-driven applications and systems that use AI tools and cloud AI services, with production-ready pipelines on cloud or on-prem infrastructure. Apply generative AI models as part of the solution, and lead team decisions and knowledge sharing as the subject matter expert.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions that meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate and manage the team, and make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models using cloud platforms.
• Manage the AI model lifecycle and operationalization.
• Optimize AI workflows for performance and scalability.
• Integrate AI models into production-grade software systems.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks.
• Prompt engineering.
• Machine learning operations (MLOps).
• Google Cloud Vertex AI model development.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Complete knowledge of development using GitHub Copilot, with a focus on prompt engineering for code generation and refinement.
• Specialization in AI model deployment and MLOps using platforms such as AWS SageMaker or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Continuous learning in data science, machine learning algorithms, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with generative AI techniques and their practical applications.
