Overview
Agile Software Engineer for Contact Center teams to design, build, and support scalable solutions on an AWS-based omni-channel customer experience platform such as Amazon Connect.
What you'll do
- Develop, test, and maintain Contact Center solutions within Amazon Connect.
- Build IVR/contact flows, routing logic, and telephony integrations.
- Create APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions to meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Implement AWS-based components including IAM, Lambda/serverless, API Gateway, and data services.
- Leverage AI-enabled tooling to improve development productivity, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile teams to deliver sprint commitments.
- Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests and perform code reviews and troubleshooting.
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect (preferred) or similar CCaaS platforms: Genesys Cloud, NICE, or Five9.
- Knowledge of IVR/contact flows, routing logic, telephony integrations, and omni-channel customer experience solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, and data services (DynamoDB/S3/RDS).
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline (CodeBuild/CodeDeploy preferred) and strong Git/version control knowledge.
- Agile experience in Scrum/Kanban environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Rally.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication/collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Event-driven architecture experience with Kafka and SNS/SQS.
- Observability tools experience including CloudWatch and Splunk.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- AWS certifications such as Developer or Solutions Architect.
