Overview

Permanent Analyst Engineer role at NAB Innovation Centre India, focused on Hyperion infrastructure support, upgrades and the translation of business requirements into system design.

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements into system design.
• Undertake impact assessment and change analysis across the landscape and integrations.
• Complete technical configuration with traceability to meet requirements.
• Undertake and support testing activities through the development and delivery lifecycle.
• Support technical and business implementation activities to ensure changes are delivered to high quality.
• Take assigned initiatives from inception to successful change deployment, with a focus on on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes (zero incident implementation).
• Support and resolve production support incidents and recurring problems.
• Maintain and support application and underlying infrastructure components to meet NAB compliance standards.
• Work in an agile environment, attending stand-ups, planning and showcases.
• Provide knowledge transfer to team members to enable ongoing support and train end users.

What you'll need

• Experience in Hyperion infrastructure support.
• Experience installing and configuring Hyperion applications/components, i.e. HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ODI, FDMEE.
• Experience with migration, upgrade, troubleshooting of issues and patching activities.
• Experience implementing SSO, integrating with Azure AD, encryption at rest/in transit and other industry standard security requirements.
• Experience with clustering and SSL setup for Hyperion apps.
• Knowledge of performance tuning activities to optimize Hyperion servers and applications.
• Work with CI/CD tools such as Harness and demonstrate proficiency with AWS cloud.
• Demonstrate strong technical thought leadership that helps resolve technical barriers and roadblocks impacting delivery teams.
• Keep up to date with new tools and technologies relevant to the service and proactively promote adoption of new tools and methodologies.
• At least 3 years' experience in Hyperion infrastructure support and upgrade projects.
• At least 3 years' experience with relational databases like Oracle.
• At least 3 years' experience with AWS and native services like IAM, KMS, EBS, EC2, S3 and RDS.
• At least 3 years' experience in application deployment and support of Windows and Linux based hosting of Hyperion apps.
• At least 3 years' experience building CI/CD pipelines and toolsets such as Harness, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
• Developed skills in one or more programming languages, e.g. Python.
• Excellent documentation and engaging communication skills, with proven ability to articulate complex technical issues in plain language to stakeholders.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Time management skills are a must, along with the ability to be flexible and creative.

Nice to have

• Batch scheduling via tools such as Control-M.
• Scripting of batch jobs, i.e. Python scripting.
• Setup of alerting and monitoring using Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Experience in Data Engineering/Data Integration related roles.
• Experience implementing or supporting data integration tools, i.e. Airflow / Informatica.
