Analyst, Domain Analytics, Actuarial 4A

Overview

Actuarial analyst role in Genpact's Domain Analytics team, focused on preparing and validating data for pricing and reserving activities and producing actuarial reports.

What you'll do

• Perform data-intensive tasks such as compilation, validation, reconciliations, manipulation and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
• Undertake allocation of data acquisition/enrichment, calculation and reporting production tasks required to support pricing/reserving activities, including a strong quality control element.
• Perform preliminary analysis and ensure data accuracy and data readiness for actuarial modeling.
• Perform routine work assignments using actuarial software and Excel template-driven models, ensuring data accuracy and data readiness for actuarial analyses.
• Based on established processes, validate data, review data trends and generate actuarial reports; make adjustments and improvements to templates and data when appropriate.
• Compile reports or exhibits with supervisor's review.
• Measure actual vs. plan performance, perform beginning analysis to identify drivers, and flag unfavorable trends or data discrepancies for further analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation for the actuarial analysis performed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bachelor's degree in Statistics, or Master's degree in Actuarial Science.
• Certifications listed in the posting: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Life and Health Insurance Specialist (CLU), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
• Required skills: Actuarial Services, Alteryx, Catastrophe Risk Management, Client Relations, Executive Presence, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Python (Programming Language), SAS, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau (Software).
• English language proficiency at Upper Intermediate (B2) level (required).
