Analyst - Logistics

Overview

Oversee daily logistics operations for SEZ, customs (import/export) and DTA transportation, including managing the logistics team, incoming materials, GRN processing, and temporary storage and issuance activities.

What you'll do

• Handle day-to-day import/export shipment clearance at customs (duty free / duty paid).
• Manage IUT (inter-unit / SEZ-to-SEZ goods transfers).
• Handle de-bonding of assets and scrapping.
• Process service invoices for GRN and endorsement.
• Coordinate with shipping agencies, freight forwarders and customs house agents for timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
• Close online TRC.
• Support Finance, vendors, SCM team, users, inward team and SEZ desk on shipment-related and invoice issues.
• Verify invoices prior to shipments, GRN and the SEZ endorsement process.
• Submit online BOE, shipping bills and TRC.
• Track and manage expenses within budget.
• Ensure timely agreements with all vendors.
• Ensure all processes are mapped in SOPs.
• Control inward store activities and manage the store team.
• Keep records of import, bond-to-bond, IUT, loan-basis and indigenous documents against the respective bond.
• Document all data points and prepare MIS.
• Track and improve logistics KPIs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Commerce or Engineering from an accredited university or institution.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in logistics including import/export, SEZ transactions and DTA operations.
• Subject matter expertise in SEZ logistics and customs processes.
• Ability to manage customs clearance of goods.
• Experience handling SEZ and customs issues and providing their resolution.
• Familiarity with operational SOPs.
• Hands-on experience with SEZ and customs online transactions.
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Data analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good on Excel and PowerPoint, plus soft skills.
• Proficiency in Oracle and logistics approval tools.
• Time management and punctuality.
