Analyst, Service Accounting

Overview

Service Accounting role within KLA's Finance organization, managing service revenue and service inventory accounting and reporting, and driving process improvement and automation across the Service division.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end service accounting, including external service revenue accounting and reporting.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, reconciliations and reporting, and assist with SOX controls requests.
• Manage service HQ inventory accounting and reporting, including worldwide service plants semi-annual standard change updates, inventory reconciliations, IFR (Inventory Forecast Reporting), and Purchase Price Variance / Work Order variance analysis.
• Work with GSS HQ (US Accounting team, Operations team, and Regional Admins) to meet all compliance requirements.
• Work with the SAP IT finance team to fix issues in SAP reporting modules, specifically MM and IB, ensuring accurate reporting and accounting and eliminating the need for manual intervention.
• Drive improvement and automation projects across the Service division.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, task automation and procedural standardization within finance shared services.
• Collaborate with finance and other operational teams to deliver process enhancements, optimize resource allocation and mitigate risks.

What you'll need

• B.Com, and semi-qualified or qualified professional (CA/ICWAI).
• Minimum 10+ years of overall experience post qualification.
• Experience in managing service inventory and revenue accounting.
• Proven track record of leading teams, driving process improvement, and implementing financial systems, processes and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
