Analytics Engineer 5 - Media Science DSE

Overview

Senior Analytics Engineer on the Media Science team, partnering with product, business and data colleagues to design metrics, build analytic tools and analyses that power content media operations at scale.

What you'll do

• Act as a strategic thought partner for Content & Business Product PMs, Content Operations teams, and AI Strategy & Innovation leaders.
• Develop and execute new measurement frameworks that quantify how GenAI-powered and other media creation innovations drive improvements in operational efficiency and creative flexibility.
• Drive the direction of your work, developing solutions from scrappy code and prototype tools to high-visibility dashboards and analyses for Business and Product & Tech leadership.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business, product, and data-oriented stakeholders, introducing and influencing data-informed ways of working.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to source and model data from the content production workflow, strengthen foundational data models, and identify ways to integrate insights that improve creative decision-making.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience with data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling to both technical and non-technical product and business stakeholders.
• Expert in the standard tech stack (i.e., SQL, Python).
• Intuitive dashboard and visualization design using common data visualization tools (i.e., Plotly, Streamlit).
• Eager to define measurement from the ground up for new technology, an exceptionally curious self-starter energized by ambiguity and able to thrive with minimal oversight and process.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen.
• Independently connect the dots across business problems.
• Known for developing and deepening strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Experience partnering closely with executive leadership, with a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions through data.

• Location: USA, Remote.
• Compensation: annual salary range of $330,000.00 - $566,000.00, varying by location.
