Analytics Engineer, India

Overview

As an Analytics Engineer in India, you will build and scale data foundations and internal data products that enable fast, reliable, actionable insights.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Identify business questions and develop structured solutions to generate insights.
• Build and maintain data products and self-serve analytics tools for company-wide scaling.
• Develop canonical datasets using high-volume, reliable ETL/ELT pipelines with data lake and data warehousing concepts.
• Design metrics and data visualizations using dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Sigma, and Mode.
• Maintain high data integrity standards to improve reusability, readability, and standardization.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation.
• Comfort using at least one functional or OOP language such as Python or Scala.
• Experience creating reporting and data visualization solutions with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Sigma).
• Familiarity with database fundamentals such as S3, Trino, Hive, or Spark, plus SQL performance tuning experience.
• Experience writing data quality checks using tools like Pydeequ or Great Expectations.
• Excellent communication skills working with technical and non-technical teams.
