Overview
GlobalFoundries is hiring an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect for its Global Performance Finance Team. The role serves as a functional and technical SME for Finance and Business Operations teams, implementing connected planning and forecasting solutions for FP&A.
What you'll do
- Identify and transform existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business issues into scalable, transparent, and efficient Anaplan models.
- Optimize existing models and incorporate new functionalities as part of a connected planning solution.
- Serve as the architectural SME for a large-scale Anaplan connected planning system.
- Guide key stakeholders through “The Anaplan Way” implementation methodology.
- Provide meaningful feedback and updates to business partners in a timely manner.
- Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs.
- Participate in and/or lead UAT testing and deployment.
- Define user roles and permissions in Anaplan.
- Participate in data integration design and support for existing and new integrations.
- Develop model documentation.
- Provide production support and training to the Anaplan global user base.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
What you'll need
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect.
- 8 years or more experience successfully implementing Anaplan solutions as an Anaplan or Pigment Model Builder and Solution Architect.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Proven knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment using the Agile method.
- Ability to translate current spreadsheet models into effective and efficient Anaplan model designs.
- Design ability to translate complex Excel models into scalable multi-dimensional Anaplan models.
- Experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions such as Pigment, PowerBI, Cognos, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Business Objects, and TM1.
- Strong understanding of inbound and outbound data integration with various source systems, including ERP, CRM, and APS.

Nice to have
- A degree (BA or MS) in Finance, Accounting, or MIS.
