Android Developer

Overview

Android Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, secure Android mobile applications and contributing to application systems analysis and programming.

What you'll do

• Identify and define system enhancements using applications development knowledge.
• Analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement fixes.
• Build and debug Android applications, including performance optimization.
• Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Publish and manage apps on the Google Play Store.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Work in Agile/Scrum and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of experience developing Android mobile applications.
• Experience building reusable, testable, efficient Android components, modules, and services.
• Ability to implement Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI).
• Knowledge of Android best practices, Citi coding standards, and secure coding guidelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with modern Android tools like Jetpack Compose and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).
• Experience implementing analytics/crash reporting/monitoring using tools such as Firebase and Crashlytics.
