Lead Engineer - Mobile

Overview

Lead Engineer – Mobile responsible for technical development and delivery for Android/mobile banking platform infrastructure, including tools, core libraries, architecture, and quality automation.

What you'll do

• Design and implement internal tools, foundational libraries, and SDKs.
• Reduce Android build times by analyzing and optimizing Gradle build logs and processes.
• Decouple legacy code into a modular architecture with optimized dependency boundaries.
• Build and optimize reusable Jetpack Compose core UI components and design systems.
• Implement feature flag wrapper API architectures for safe, phased rollouts.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation and write unit/integration tests for platform code.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of Android engineering experience, including platform/infrastructure/core architecture teams.
• Advanced Kotlin knowledge, Android SDK expertise, and deep familiarity with Gradle build internals and performance profiling.
• Proven experience refactoring large, complex, multi-module codebases.
• Strong mobile security knowledge (keystore, encryption, obfuscation) for banking/FinTech apps.
• Expert experience managing shared mobile codebases for 100+ engineers and optimizing enterprise build infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of compliance, regulatory, and security requirements for financial applications.
